I hate you CBC, for showing plugs about David Suzuki’s The Nature of Things, with the question ‘How was the ocean born?’
Now that my son has seen your trailer, I am stuck with answering this question. Paolo and I hardly finished how the Earth was born, now you complicate it more with how the ocean was born.
Anyhow, long story short, I gained a little but of knowledge today knowing the the ocean was born shortly after the earth was born. The theory is, is that the water came form underneath the earth and rose up as steam because of the earth’s hot surface. As the Earth cooled down, clouds started to form and it rained for many days and nights, forming the first bodies of water. And there you have it - the Ocean.
